20-Minute Baked Chicken Tacos

A quick and easy recipe for baked chicken tacos, perfect for busy weeknights or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, cooked and shredded
  • 1 taco seasoning packet
  • 8 taco shells
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend recommended)
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • Sour cream, for serving
  • Salsa, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the shredded chicken with taco seasoning in a skillet over medium heat, and cook for 3-5 minutes until heated through.
  3. Place taco shells upright in a baking dish.
  4. Spoon seasoned chicken into each taco shell and top with shredded cheese.
  5. Transfer the baking dish to the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese is melted.
  6. Add shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes on top, and serve with sour cream and salsa.
