Ground Beef Teriyaki

A quick and easy dish featuring tender ground beef and vibrant vegetables in a rich teriyaki sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup carrots, sliced
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Cooked rice for serving
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until hot.
  2. Brown the ground beef in the skillet, cooking until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the broccoli, bell pepper, and carrots, stir-frying for about 4-5 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.
  4. Pour the teriyaki sauce over the beef and vegetable mixture, stirring to combine and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  5. Serve the beef teriyaki over cooked rice and garnish with sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

Don’t overcook the veggies to retain their crunch. Use quality teriyaki sauce for the best flavor.
