Crock Pot Angel Chicken

A comforting and effortless dish featuring tender chicken in a creamy sauce, perfect for busy weekdays or meal prep.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1 packet Italian dressing mix
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 8 ounces angel hair pasta
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Layer the chicken breasts in the bottom of your Crock Pot.
  2. Mix the cream of chicken soup, Italian dressing mix, and cream cheese in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Add the creamy mixture over the chicken breasts, ensuring all pieces are covered.
  4. Incorporate the chicken broth around the sides of the chicken.
  5. Cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender.
  6. Prepare the angel hair pasta according to the package instructions, about 20 minutes before the chicken is ready.
  7. Serve the chicken mixture over the cooked pasta and garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

For a lighter version, you can use Greek yogurt in place of cream cheese, though it may slightly alter the texture.
