A delightful twist on traditional buffalo wings, these Crispy Buffalo Cauliflower Wings offer bold flavor without the meat. Perfect for game day or as a tasty snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 1 cup of buffalo sauce (adjust for heat level)
  • 1 cup of almond flour (or flour of your choice)
  • 1/2 cup of plant-based milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil spray (for air frying)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) or set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the head of cauliflower into bite-sized florets, aiming for uniform pieces.
  3. Combine plant-based milk with a pinch of salt and pepper in a bowl for the wet mix.
  4. Mix almond flour with additional salt and pepper in a separate bowl for the crispy coating.
  5. Dip each cauliflower floret into the milk mixture, then roll it in the almond flour mixture until well coated.
  6. Arrange the coated florets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Lightly spray with olive oil.
  7. Bake for about 20-25 minutes or air fry for about 15 minutes until golden and crispy.
  8. Transfer the florets to a large bowl and toss gently with buffalo sauce until well coated. Serve immediately.

Notes

Almond flour provides a gluten-free option but can be swapped with regular flour if preferred. Adjust buffalo sauce based on your spice tolerance.
