Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry

A delightful and nutritious stir fry featuring tender beef, vibrant broccoli, and a flavorful sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef (sliced thinly)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or coconut aminos for gluten-free)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the beef: In a bowl, mix the soy sauce and cornstarch. Add the sliced beef and let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and ginger, sautéing for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Increase the heat to high, add the marinated beef to the skillet, and cook for about 3-4 minutes until browned.
  4. Toss in the broccoli florets along with a splash of water. Cover the skillet and steam for 2-3 minutes until the broccoli is tender.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately over rice or noodles, and enjoy!

Notes

For a gluten-free option, use coconut aminos instead of soy sauce. Slice the beef thinly against the grain for tenderness.
