Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice (white or brown)
  • 1 cup cooked shredded chicken or tofu
  • 1 cup pickled carrots
  • 1 cup cucumber, sliced
  • 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the Base: In a large bowl, add the cooked rice and shredded chicken or tofu. Mix well to combine these base ingredients.
  2. Drizzle the Dressing: Pour in the soy sauce, sesame oil, and rice vinegar. Stir until the rice and protein are well-coated with the dressing.
